Went smoothly

We are delighted with our new kitchen. Planning through to completion went smoothly. We can't speak highly enough of the kitchen fitters who were skilled, worked hard and were polite and considerate. A minor problem with one of the appliances was sorted out satisfactorily. We would highly recommend JPL Designs if you want a top quality kitchen and excellent service.

Wow that's amazing!

We had our kitchen extended by John Lewis, a local Coventry builder that I can recommend, but this review is not about them. We needed to have a kitchen company that could work with our builder to agree timescales and agree who does what. We shopped around and got several quotes, some gave us confidence and some didn't and we ended up with three quotes at the end.

There were two things that made us go for JPL. One was the fact that we were quite set on what we wanted and most companies just went along with us, but Jean Paul made several useful suggestions that we incorporated into the final design, one of which meant a little more building work but I am so glad we made the changes. The other was the fact that unlike most companies, JPL only wanted a small deposit and told us that we should retain £500 until after the job was completed and we were entirely satisfied. 

The job started on time after Jean Paul had made a few site visits to specify to the builders exactly where the electrics and drainage should go. Jean Paul also made site visits during the fitting of the kitchen to ensure that everything was done to his standards, or to put it in his words, "the JPL way". I'm not sure he needed to make the supervision visits because his fitters were excellent, Pete and Ryan made sure we were happy at every step of the way. If there was a choice to be made, they asked for input, if we had difficulty in making a decision they made helpful suggestions. When the job was finished, they went over everything with us to ensure there were no outstanding tasks. The only thing that was not done was to fit the under cupboard plinths which had to wait until the floor was finished. When it was, Pete and Ryan came back and finished off. Once again Jean Paul visited to ensure we were fully satisfied, and only at that point did he request the final payment of £500. 

On Christmas Day we had 9 for Christmas dinner which was the acid test for the kitchen and it passed with flying colours. I have no hesitation at all in recommending JPL and Jean Paul's team of fitters, and I imagine that goes for all the people that have come into our kitchen and said "Wow that's amazing!".

Extremely happy

We found JPL Design in the Your Call magazine. We had looked around but couldn’t find another Company in the City that had what we wanted. We are extremely happy with the work they have designed and carried out for us, we had general ideas for revamping our kitchen and installing an office area, this had to be done without damaging the new laminate floor.

The end product is more than we had hoped for or imagined, we found it quite difficult marrying up colours, textures and styles but Jean Paul was always available to help with what worked and what didn’t. The fitters worked extremely hard, were always on time and very polite, as the project progressed we were asked to inspect the work and tell them while they were on site if anything was not as expected. We would highly recommend Jean Paul and his team, we have a beautiful kitchen and office that came in on budget and was completely hassle free.

A complete makeover

JPL Designs gave my kitchen a complete makeover, new cabinet doors and worktops and it looks amazing, it is streamlined and contemporary, my friends and family thought that I had a complete new kitchen installed it looks so good. 
I chose JPL after looking at many other companies which offer the same thing and was impressed by Jean-Paul who helped me select the look I wanted.
 
He was there every day during the refit to project manage the work and it went like clockwork everything on time, the fitters worked hard on a diet of coffee and biscuits and left the site clean and tidy each night. I knew in advance the costings and there were no hidden extras, it was a pleasure having the work done. 

Nowadays there is so much choice lots will offer a kitchen makeover but if you want the kitchen of your dreams, on time and budget, hassle free and peace of mind it has to Jean-Paul.

I can't recommend JPL highly enough. It was crucial for us to have someone we could trust who would project manage the complete kitchen refurbishment from start to finish. John Paul delivered exactly that. The attention to detail from planning to the final touches was great and on the rare occasion when things didn't go to plan it didn't matter as John Paul took care of it. Brilliant communication and customer service - no hard sell , happy to work within our budget and a great team who take pride in their work. If that's what you want then JPL are the people to go to.
